Dublin Dog Foundation had a big day on Thursday Nov. 11, Veteran's Day, getting both national and local media coverage. The support of our efforts has been greatly appreciated. To check out the video from WBTV with Maureen O'Boyle and Jeff Atkinson, check out the following link Dublin Dog Foundation on WBTV Channel 3 . The final celebration will take place this Saturday, Nov. 13th at Connolly's Irish Pub on 5th and Tryon in uptown Charlotte. Hope to see you there. And good luck to everybody who entered to win the Jeep Wrangler.

Our sister organization, The Dublin Dog Foundation has named it recipient for this year's fundraising efforts. We have partnered with Freedom Service Dogs to help Sgt. Charles Berninghausen obtain a service dog named "Tux". Sgt. Berninghausen lost his leg to an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) while serving in Iraq. Through the efforts of the Dublin Dog Foundation, we are raising funds to help pay for all the costs associated with raising and training his specialized service dog. "Tux" will serve to help our wounded warrior regain balance, aid throughout the rehab process, and serve as a true partner for all of his handler's needs. Dublin Dog and the Foundation are both humbled and honored to be able to give back to the men and women who courageously serve our nation in the armed forces. Unfortunately, there are many more soldiers like Charles who need the assistance of service dogs and so the need for donations and support will not stop. Please check out Dublin Dog Foundation to learn how you too can help Charles, while at the same time entering to win a custom Jeep Wrangler in the process. The Dublin Dog Foundation will announce the winner of the Jeep, Saturday, November 13th at Connolly's Irish Bar in Charlotte, NC during our final fundraising event.

Things here at Dublin Dog Co., have been crazy these past 6 months. I apologize for not getting back on the bloggin' band-waggon. However, we have just over 10,000 pieces of our All Style, No Stink product arriving this week. That's right, fresh product, and better yet, we'll have everything in stock. Yippeee. We are very grateful for the HUGE demand we've received for our All Style, No Stink dog collars. We have made some dramatic changes in our production that will eliminate many of the issues we've faced with lack of inventory. Check out the blog for more and VERY EXCITING information about these said changes. You'll be luckier than ever in 2011.

You

As most of you know by now, here at Dublin Dog Co, we're all about good fortune and good luck. The only difference is, that we like to MAKE our luck happen. That's right, being lucky is not only possible, but it's a given when you make good decisions and work hard to make those dreams come true.

So on this St. Patrick's Day I wanted to share a dream that we have for one of our Nation's finest. Our non-profit sister organization, the Dublin Dog Foundation has launched our Canines for Comrades Campaign. We are currently raffling off this custom Jeep Wrangler at $20.00 a ticket to help a soldier back from Iraq or Afghanistan who has suffered an amputation while serving to protect our freedom! The donations received from this raffle will help us sponsor a service dog from Freedom Service Dogs to help this individual get back their freedom and their sense of independence. We can't rely on luck alone to make this happen, we need your support! Please visit www.dublindogfoundation.org to see how you can MAKE a dog and a US soldier very, very , lucky. By doing so, perhaps your luck will change and you'll be driving this one of a kind Jeep this Summer! "We should all be so lucky"  Happy St. Patrick's Day to you and yours from the entire team at Dublin Dog Co and the Dublin Dog Foundation!

"Best

We are thrilled and honored to have been included in the April edition of Backpacker Magazine's "Gear Guide".  Dublin Dog Co is making a serious push in 2010 to go after more of a lifestyle market, for those folks who love the outdoors and enjoy making their dog(s) a part of that passion. And speaking of passion, we have been throwing our hearts and souls into new product development, new categories, and a fresh perspective on interacting with our customers. So thank you Backpacker Magazine www.backpacker.com, and thank you to our loyal customers who continue to give us wonderful and critical feedback. We are the LUCKY ONES!!!

DD Recycle Logo_flatOk gang, so far so good. After only a little over a week we've had a lot of folks sending us used collars for our Re-Gift program. That's wonderful and we really appreciate it, however we're greedy!!! We want even more! We're approached everyday by rescue organizations, shelters, and general dogs in need. While we would love to help every single one of them, we simply don't have the resources to do it alone. So that's where you come in. Send us your gently used collars, leads, etc and we'll re-gift it to an organization who needs some extra help with their canine companions. What makes it that much sweeter is the fact that we'll give you 15% off your next "Original All Style, No Stink" Dog collar.  Let's Re-Focus and help those in need, our environment, and our four-legged friends.
